The Lonsdale offers a beautiful blend of geometric bars with traditional design features. Daniel (our apprentice) loves making this balcony. In his words “A striking little number!”

The overall height of this balcony is 1100mm (1.1 Meters) this height meet current UK building regulations. The distance between the bars are no greater than 100mm (10 Centimeters) which also meets current UK regulations.

When choosing your balcony frame size we recommend adding 300mm (30 Centimeters) to the measurement of your opening.

Product Description

The Lonsdale balcony comprises of a 30mm x 30mm hollow steel box section frame. The allows for excellent strength without adding unnecessary weight to the balcony which allows for easier installation. The infill bars are made from 12mm x 12mm solid square steel, with three additional geometric feature bars. The top rail features four decorative scrolls which finish off the overall look of the balcony.If you choose the galvanized option the box section is drilled. This allows the zinc coating to flow through the balcony frame. This results in the balcony being protected from corrosion inside and out.Mounting holes are drilled at 10mm. These are designed to suit M8 fixings. The mountings are welded to the outer frame of the balcony. There is a 50mm spacing between the back face of the balcony and the face of the mounting feet.The Overall height of the balcony is 1100mm (1.1 Mtr) which meets the current UK building regulations. The gaps between the infill bars are less than 100mm (10 cm) which meets current U.K. building regulations
